| ¡ñ EK/EKQ series actuator uses RS485 data bus link and can realize 38.4Kbit/s data transfer through EROK-LINK communication protocol. On the computer where EK-Inspect application software has been installed, the actuator can be observed and set conveniently. Of course it can be controlled using any third party software that supports EROK-LINK communication protocol.

In the EK/EKQ series actuator one or two Modbus modules can be installed to provide control functions and remote serial communication of status feedback data. The field network adopts 2-wire or 4-wire high speed S485 data interface and can double the interface when redundancy is used. The communication adopts half duplex form and uses Modbus RTU communication protocol. Data transfer baud rate can be 38.4kbit/s. Various functions of the actuator linked with the system are all programmed through the infrared setter.

Profibus DP interface card can be installed within EK/EKQ series actuator to incorporate the actuator in the standard Profibus network and is compatible with fieldbus standard EN50170. And this module can realize operability of Profibus authentication. This network can enable transfer of all the control and status feedback data of the actuator to the upper computer. Profibus module has two communication ports, makes easier link of redundant fieldbus where there is very high reliability requirement and support data transfer baud rate of up to 1.5M .

With EK/EKQ series actuator FF-1 module can be installed to incorporate the actuator in the Foundation fieldbus network (H1). This module conforms to the fieldbus IEC 61158-2 standard and is linked to the bus through 2 wires. Its operability has also passed verification. Foundation bus can realize control of all functions and data exchange between control device and all the actuators. Each equipment has the ability to link with the dispatcher and its analog and digital I/O function module is as perfect as PID and standard conversion module. Foundation fieldbus network has the ability of operation independent of the master control system, similar to an administrator. Mutual communication can be made directly between field equipments.
